What it treats:
  • Trichomoniasis A common protozoan disease in birds, causing yellow growths in the mouth/throat.
  • Another protozoan infection affecting the intestines.
  • Effective against bacteria like Clostridium and Campylobacter. 
Ingredients 
  • Ronidazole The main active ingredient in many versions.
  • Some “Tricho-Plus(4 In 1)” versions also add Metronidazole and Furaltadone for broader action. 
How to Use:
  • Typically 1 sachet/spoon per 2 liters of drinking water for 5 days.
  • Use 1 sachet/spoon per 1 liter.
  • Can be applied to moist food if birds drink less.
  • Specific dosages (e.g., 1 capsule every 12 hours for 3 days) may apply to capsule forms. 
Important Considerations:
  • Always follow label instructions for correct dosage and duration.
  • Ensure birds only drink the medicated water during treatment.
